2018 Te Whakaruruhau Symposium

Waikato Women's Refuge Te Whakaruruhau in partnership with Ngā Pae o te Māramatanga hosted Te Whakaruruhau-Partnering for Whānau Symposium on the 19th - 20th July 2018.

The symposium brought together targeted groups of government, non-government, local community organisations, Iwi, researchers, specialist, legal, reformed perpetrators and survivors of domestic violence into an information-sharing forum for networking, exchanging success stories and discussing the challenges the whānau face daily when dealing with domestic violence.
