The Critical and Sensitive Research Issues Symposium was held on 2 November 2009 in Auckland and was attended by approximately 200 participants. A key driver of the symposium was to begin a process of finding constructive research approaches from a Māori perspective to the highly sensitive issues of domestic violence and violence against children.
